Tips

1. Take every chance to speak in class.
2. Only speak English in class. Try not to ask for translations.
3. Learn “Class Talk” see below.
4. Always be ready to “just talk” (see https://helpyourselfenglish.wordpress.com/just-talk/)
5. Listen and do the conversation practices.
6. Sub-vocalize other student’s answers.
7. When you are given a speaking activity continue speaking until you are asked to stop by the  teacher, You will be able to continue if you role-play.
8. Start an English only conversation group.
9. Ask the teacher if you can give a 5 minute presentation on a topic that interests you, (include answering audience questions).
